Reset MySQL 5.7 root password

sudo mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &
 
Then when paste this and hit [ENTER]
mysql -uroot
use mysql;
update user set authentication_string=password('YOURSUPERSECRETPASSWORD') where user='root';
flush privileges;
quit
Restart MySQL
Login Mysql and change pass
set password=password('Admin321*');
